What AI job search for software engineers should do for you
You know the drill. A dozen tabs of postings, a stack that changes from company to company, and the same form typed in again and again. Hand off the busywork and save your energy for the technical rounds.
The boards tech companies use
Search company boards on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby in one go, from Stripe and Cloudflare to Linear and Supabase, or add your own target companies.
Ranked against your stack
Every role gets a match score with the reasons behind it, so the Go and Kubernetes backend job doesn't hide behind ten frontend ones.
Stack keywords, done honestly
See which tools a posting names that your resume doesn't. Tick the ones you have really used and they are added for that job only.
Reach the engineering manager
Find the recruiter and the Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering from public pages, with a short email drafted for each.
Forms filled, links included
Your GitHub, LinkedIn and personal site land in the right boxes, along with your work authorization and sponsorship answers.
You stay in control
Personal questions stay blank, it stops at CAPTCHAs and logins, and nothing is sent until you press Submit.
Tailored resumes
Match the stack without stretching the truth
Every posting lists its stack a little differently. Hirabo shows the tools a job asks for, which ones your resume already covers and which it doesn't. You decide what is true for you.
- Missing tools are only added if you tick them
- Every change shown next to your original wording

Search and resume tips
Keyword tips for engineering resumes
Recruiters and applicant tracking systems scan for the tools a posting names. A few habits help your resume read right to both.
- Write both spellings once. If a posting says Kubernetes and your resume says K8s, write “Kubernetes (K8s)”. The same goes for Go and Golang, or PostgreSQL and Postgres.
- Name the tool, then the result. “Moved session storage to Redis and cut page load times” says more than Redis sitting alone in a skills list.
- Search by stack, not just title. “Backend engineer Go” or “platform engineer Kubernetes” finds roles that a plain “software engineer” search buries.
- Read the level, not just the title. Engineer II, Senior and Staff mean different things at different companies. Check the years asked for and the scope of the work.
- Go straight to the company board. Many tech companies post every opening on their own Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby board. Add the companies you want to your search.
- Make your GitHub worth the click. Pin two or three projects that match the roles you want, each with a short README.
Applications
Where it fills engineering applications
It fills the form on the employer's own site and shows you a screenshot of exactly what was entered.
- Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby forms, including career pages that embed Greenhouse.
- Written questions like “Why are you a good fit?” get a short draft from your resume, marked for your review.
- Workday usually asks you to sign in first, so it stops there and hands you the link.
- It won't apply on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor or ZipRecruiter, because their terms forbid automated applications.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Should I write K8s or Kubernetes on my resume?
Use the spelling the posting uses, and add the other once in brackets, such as Kubernetes (K8s) or Go (Golang). Hirabo shows which tools a posting names that your resume lacks, so you can fix real gaps before you apply.
Which companies does it search by default?
Company boards on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, including Stripe, Cloudflare, Datadog, Netflix, Plaid, Linear and Supabase. You can replace the list with your own target companies in the search form.
Will it fill in my GitHub profile on applications?
Yes, if the GitHub link is on your resume or in your profile. It goes in any box labelled GitHub, and your LinkedIn and personal site go in theirs.
Can it apply to LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs?
No. It won't apply on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor or ZipRecruiter, because their terms forbid automated applications. When a listing links to the employer's own form, it can fill that form instead.
