Can AI apply to jobs for me?
Can AI apply to jobs for me? Partly. AI can find an application form, upload your resume and fill most routine questions. It can't get past CAPTCHAs or sign-ins on its own, and it shouldn't answer for you unseen. Hirabo fills the form for free, lists what is left, and waits for you to press Submit.
What it can do
Can AI apply to jobs for me? What it can do today
Here is what Hirabo does for you on a real application form.
Find the form
Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby links go straight to the form. On other career sites it follows the Apply button, even into a new tab, and moves through multi-step forms.
Fill the routine questions
Name, contact details, links, current company, work authorization, sponsorship, relocation, salary, start date and how you heard. All from the resume and profile you checked.
Handle the fiddly bits
It picks drop-down options, chooses from location suggestions, ticks checkboxes and clicks Yes or No.
Upload and write
It uploads your resume, and a cover letter where the form asks for one. It drafts short answers to questions like “Why are you a good fit?” from your resume, marked for your review.
Where it stops
What it can't do, or shouldn't
Knowing where an AI stops matters as much as what it does.
Get past a CAPTCHA, sign-in or bot check
It stops and gives you the link. Some boards add a hidden CAPTCHA when you send, so there you paste the filled answers and send the form yourself.
Apply where you must sign in
Workday usually asks for an account first, so it stops at the sign-in page. LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and ZipRecruiter are off limits: they need you signed in and their terms forbid automated applications.
Answer personal questions for you
Gender, race, veteran status, disability and consent boxes are left for you unless you gave the exact answer.
Know what only you know
Why this company, your salary floor, whether you'd relocate. If your profile doesn't say, it asks.
Free
Is there a free AI tool that applies to jobs for me?
Yes. Hirabo is free, with no paid tier, no account and no credit card. It is a web app, so there is nothing to install. Open it, upload your resume, and it fills applications for you to check.
The trade-offs are real but small:
- You read and send each application yourself, so it is built for a careful search, not a bulk one.
- It fills Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby forms best. Other company career sites vary.
The step-by-step guide walks through a full search.
Step by step
How an AI agent that applies to jobs for you works here
One job, one filled form, one Submit. Here is the whole flow.
Pick a job
From your search results, or paste a posting link you found yourself.
Let it fill the form
Nothing is sent. You get a screenshot, every answer with where it came from, and the questions left for you.
Check its drafts
Keep or edit each answer it wrote for you. Until you do, the form can't be sent.
Answer what's left
Your answers are saved with the job, so the next fill includes them.
Press Submit
The app asks you to confirm, and sends only when every required question is answered.
When the employer's site confirms your application, you see it. If no confirmation appears, check your email before trying again, so you don't apply twice.
By design
Why it stops at Submit
An application goes out under your name, and it can't be recalled. AI can misread a question or guess an answer. You catch that in seconds when you look at the filled form. So Hirabo does the typing, and you make the one decision that matters.
That is also why it never sends in bulk. Each application is one job and one Submit. For the risks of the other approach, read is it safe to let AI apply for you. For the full flow, see how it works.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can AI apply to LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs for me?
Not with this tool. LinkedIn needs you signed in and its terms forbid automated applications, so it won't apply there. When a LinkedIn listing links to the employer's own application page, it fills that page instead.
How many applications can it send in a day?
There is no batch mode. Each application is filled for you to check and sent only when you press Submit. The number is however many you choose to review and send.
Does the AI write my answers?
Routine questions are filled straight from your resume and profile. For written questions it drafts a short answer using facts from your resume, and each one is marked for your review.
Do I have to pay for the AI?
No. Hirabo is free, and the AI that drafts and fills is included. There is nothing extra to buy and no credit card.
