AI remote job search that checks where you can work from
Hirabo is a free AI remote job search with no account. Set it to remote only and list the countries you can work from. It drops remote jobs limited to other countries, keeps ones open worldwide or to your wider region, and never ranks a job you can't take as a strong fit.
The catch with remote
How AI remote job search saves you the dead ends
You find the perfect remote role, read to the very bottom, and there it is: “US only”. Or a hybrid job slips into your remote search. Here is how those dead ends disappear.
Remote from where you are
List the countries you can work from. Jobs limited to other countries drop out, and jobs open to your wider region or worldwide stay in.
Hybrid stays out
A posting that says hybrid counts as not remote, so “two days in the office” never shows up in a remote-only search.
Honest rankings
A job you can't take from where you live never ranks as a strong fit, however well your skills match.
Remote boards and company boards
Remotive, RemoteOK, Jobicy and Arbeitnow alongside company boards on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, with duplicates merged into one result.
Location questions answered once
Where you live, work authorization, visa sponsorship and willingness to relocate go into every form from your profile.
Remote from
Only the remote jobs you're allowed to take
Wider regions count. Someone in the US can take a job open to North America or the Americas. Someone in the UK can take one open to Europe or EMEA. A job open worldwide fits everyone.
| You can work from | The posting says | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Canada | Remote, US only | Dropped |
| Canada | Remote, North America | Kept |
| Germany | Remote, EMEA | Kept |
| US | Remote, LATAM | Dropped |
| India | Remote, Anywhere | Kept |
| US | Remote (no place given) | Kept, and flagged so you can check |

Search tips
Tips for a remote job search
Remote roles reward a little extra care in how you search and how you present yourself.
- Search the words remote employers use. Remote, distributed and work from home, plus region names like EMEA, LATAM or APAC.
- Read the location line closely. “Remote, US” and “Remote, US time zones” are different asks.
- Put your location and time zone on your resume. Add your work authorization too, if it isn't obvious from where you live.
- Show you work well apart. Written docs, distributed teams and clear async updates are worth a line each.
- Check your answers job by job. If you are authorized in Canada but not the US, a US-only form needs a different answer. Every form comes with a screenshot so you can check before you press Submit.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I find remote jobs I'm actually allowed to take?
Set the work mode to Remote only and type the countries you can work from into Remote from, such as Canada, US. Remote jobs limited to other countries are dropped, and jobs open to a wider region you belong to are kept.

No. A posting that says hybrid is treated as not remote, so it is left out of a remote-only search and matched against your location instead.
What happens to remote jobs that don't say where you can work from?
They are kept, because there is nothing to rule them out on, and marked so you know to check. Read the posting before you apply.
Which remote job boards does it search?
Remotive, RemoteOK, Jobicy and Arbeitnow, plus company boards on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, and listings from Indeed and LinkedIn.
